Red Fermented Rice, also called Red Kojic Rice, is a kind of natural food colorant, which is made from 100% fermented Non-GMO rice on Monascus Anka species. As a safe and stable red agent,it is widely used in food industry especially in meat products, such as sausage. From now on, no any other natural food red colorant is found cheaper than red yeast rice. Beside red agent, it acts as preservative and flavor as well.
